A new and innovative role based within a successful, well-established NBA franchise in the Western Conference. The Executive Director of Performance, Health & Wellness will be responsible for managing, organising, coordinating, directing and supervising the Performance Health and Wellness Group. He/ she will implement appropriate and effective work systems within the organization.     This role also includes the provision of delivering Physical Therapy (diagnostics, injury prevention, treatment and return to play interventions), coupled with developing the first-class athlete-centered medical and performance provisions across the Major and G-League teams.    Reporting to the General Manager, the individual will be responsible for leading and developing the existing members of staff within the department where high performance team-work is embedded within the culture of work.     The individual will need an excellent framework of understanding and demonstrable history of success in athlete performance and care, with a background in Physical Therapy/ Physiotherapy. S/he must value and embody within their work a high performance approach to athlete wellness, and place value on the importance of sports science, nutrition, psychology, sports medicine, strength and conditioning.     The individual must be a highly skilled, adaptable communicator, able to lead and take direction where necessary and possess executive-level organizational processes.    Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s relevant experience
