A leading Premier League club are recruiting a Medical Support Manager. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work within an internationally renowned and famous club with a rich history. The club is ambitious and wishes to develop its medical department into a world-class unit. 
 

The role is to assist and support the Head of Medical & Sports Science in the operations and administration of the Medical Department (Sports Medicine and Sports Science), contributing to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the club through the delivery of best practice based medial and sports science services.  

The individual will aid in delivering an integrated medical department philosophy that aligns with club philosophy and to ensure that it is understood by all medical staff, and is incorporated into departmental procedures and behaviour.  

The role will assist with embedding a performance-led culture, focusing on enhancing performance as well as maintain the fitness and well-being of the players.  

The position requires in depth knowledge of Clinical Governance and excellent organisational and communication skills. Also key is a proven history in understanding the complex nature of working with international athletes in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage decision making in a dynamic situation.  

 
The candidate needs to be adaptable, willing to work in a variety of situations and localities. The candidate should also be comfortable working alongside well-known figures, often with international notoriety. This requires the ability to work under significant pressure and within tight deadlines.
