RESERVE TEAM FITNESS COACH Reporting to:-The Head of Fitness and Conditioning Duties/ResponsibilitiesTo include:- Specific Responsibilities The supervision of conditioning for fit and injured Reserve Team players; Responsible for all on pitch conditioning, warm ups and general player preparation for Reserve Team training and matches; Collection of Reserve Team player monitoring/data prior to, and during training; Implementation and reporting of all physiological assessments of Reserve Team players; Supervision of post game/training and stand-alone recovery sessions for ReserveTeam; Assist in First Team Sports Science activities as required Design and implement an overall team, yet individually-tailored football-specific fitness program; Control all aspects of player fitness, strength and overall conditioning; Develop and implement injury prevention, conditioning and rehabilitation programs to players in conjunction with medical, fitness and coaching staff; Conduct or assist in conducting any physical examinations, fitness testing, or similar in conjunction with the medical, fitness and coaching staff; Responsible for the warm-up and supervision at Reserve Team matches. Adapt relevant sports science techniques to player training, monitoring rehabilitation, assessment and skill acquisition; Continually communicate information to players regarding fitness/assessment results, health, nutrition, monitoring and any other relevant issues; Liaise with Reserve Team Coach; Individual Responsibilities To be familiar with and aware of advances in fitness and strength and conditioning; Attend relevant conferences and sports science presentations where appropriate and distribute information to relevant department members; Hold sufficient Professional LiabilityInsurance appropriate for working with elite professional football players; Ensure all relevant insurance forms and administration is completed (to includeUEFA, Liverpool Football Club and players’ personal insurance);
