STRENGTH AND REHABILITATION COACH    Reporting to:-    The Head of Fitness and Conditioning     Duties/Responsibilities    To include:-      Responsibilities  The supervision of strength training for fit and injured players;  Responsible or all aspects of strength and associated indices (flexibility, power, RFD etc.) program design and implementation;  Assist in collection of player monitoring/data prior to, and during training;  Implementation and reporting of all strength assessments of players;  Assist in supervision of post game/training and stand-alone recovery sessions;  Have a strong input in specific speed and agility program design, implementation and supervision;  Have input, in conjunction with sports medicine department, in injury prehabilitation and rehabilitation program design, implementation and supervision;  Assist in First team Sports Science activities as required;  The supervision of strength, conditioning, and return to play program progressions for injured players;  Assist in collection and analysis of monitoring indices for injured players;  Liaise closely with team Physiotherapists with all aspects of injured player program and implementation;  Liaise closely with team Fitness Coaches with all aspects of injured player program and implementation;  Assist team Physiotherapists in the design of specific gym-based restoration of muscle function/imbalance programs;  Under guidance and co-supervision from Team Physiotherapists, supervise football specific gym-based restoration of muscle function/imbalance of injured players;  Assist team Physiotherapists and Fitness staff in the design of football-specific, on pitch return to play activities Under guidance and co-supervision from team Physiotherapists and Fitness staff, supervise football specific on pitch return to play activities;  Assist in First team Sports Science and Sports Medicine activities as required;  Communicate regularly with fitness, medical and coaching staff concerning all relevant Sports Science issues; To be familiar with and aware of advances in fitness maintenance and to disseminate the same as appropriate to other members of the team;   Individual Responsibilities  Attend relevant conferences and sports rehabilitation presentations where appropriate and distribute information to relevant department members;  Hold sufficient Professional Liability Insurance appropriate for working with elite professional football players;  Maintain notes to an excellent standard;  Liaise with football management and senior management staff in order to optimise player performance and overall health (subject to obtaining relevant consent and ensuring patient confidentiality at all times);
